About Duncan
Growing up I played basketball, baseball, and lifted weights. I've had many good coaches that have taught me things I will never forget and bad coaches that reminded me who I didn't want to be. I was a 4 year varsity letter in baseball and basketball and went on to play 1 year of division 1 baseball. That was when I fell in love with physical fitness and knew I wanted to compete in and coach Crossfit.
Turning Point
I've always wanted to be the best. I just don't know what I wanted to be the best at of what that even meant. Through lots of learning, growing, and good people I was led to Crossfit. That's where I learned that doing my best was a better goal than being the best. Thanks to the book Jeff Jucha got me (Pursuing Excellence) I began to strive for excellence as a coach, competitor, son, and fiancé.
Motivation & Passion
Through coaching I hope to help others.
My passion is teaching people health and fitness to live better lives by gaining balance, losing weight, getting strong, and gaining confidence.
