CrossFit Movement and Mobility Trainer Course

We will be hosting the Official CrossFit Movement and Mobility Trainer Course on November 15th and again on November 16th.

This one-day seminar is a performance oriented workshop for athletes and coaches wishing to develop effective mobility and flexibility strategies, improve ideal athlete positioning and movement set-up, and implement whole-body maintenance practices. Attendees will understand how to: Improve force production, increase work outputs, avoid common and preventable movement dysfunction and injury, and understand how to address simple performance related myo-fascial and joint mobility issues.
Improve understanding of key anatomical elements as they relate to functional movement, and as performance limiters.

  • Understand and apply neuro-muscular stretching methods
  • Understand methods to improve overhead positioning and efficacy
  • Develop methods to address common myo-fascial pain/dysfunction
  • Understand how to treat soft tissue injuries
  • Develop better movement preparation strategies

Frequently Asked Questions

#1: Are there any pre-requisites for the course?

No. Anyone can attend; however, to receive a Trainer Certificate for the CrossFit Movement and Mobility Trainer Course one must hold a valid and current CrossFit Level 1 Trainer Certificate. If you attend and do not hold a valid and current CrossFit Level 1 Trainer Certificate, you will be issued a Certificate of Attendance.

#2: What are the requirements for becoming a CrossFit Movement and Mobility Trainer?
The requirements for this credential are stringent, primarily for your protection and the safety of those you train. They are:
1. Holding a valid and current CrossFit Level 1 Trainer Certificate
2. 100% course attendance
3. 100% participation

#3: When will I receive my certificate?

You will receive your certificate at the completion of the seminar

The CrossFit Movement & Mobility Course will be presented by one of the CrossFit Movement and Mobility Seminar Staff including: Dr. Kelly Starrett, Jami Tikkanen, Osteopath Dr. Roop Sihota, Dr. Theresa Larson or Dr. Danny Matta.
