What’s the difference between being attached vs non-attached to an outcome?
Awareness.
One way for you and I to swim across the English Channel is to swim about eight feet apart and keep an eye on each other. That’s being aware.
Another way is to tie each of our wrists and ankles together with four lengths of rope. That’s being attached.
Both ways attempt the same outcome. Awareness gives flexibility for when the weather goes bad. The other will likely drown both of us.
