I got into body building for a few year immediately following high school. This is when I fell in love with weight lifting and started to get strong. From my freshmen year at UCA until now I have pretty much been obsessed with working out and getting better at everything I can learn.
I discovered CrossFit in May 2011 and have never looked back. The sport allowed me to develop my skills across all areas of fitness while not losing the strength I had gained from 3 years of exclusive weight lifting/body building. I love the sport and love coaching it and am always happy to share my knowledge with others.
Motivation & Passion
My purpose for coaching is to honestly be the best coach in the world, not just the "the best version of myself" model from that inspiration book that Oprah recommended. I approach every aspect in my life with the mind set of being the best at it. I do love helping people to move better, hit PRs, and overall just dominate their non CrossFit friends in every aspect of their lives in general as well (no offense to the shake weight followers out there).
My goal is to be the coach/personal trainer/programmer that can get you to where you want to be faster, safer and with a more satisfying overall experience than even the legendary Sean T from the Insanity/T-25 workout videos. In other words, if you want someone that will hold you accountable, make you laugh (or cuss, which is just as fun), and mold you into whatever Marvel superhero you want to be, then I'm your guy!
