When did you first come to WLRCF?
We started CrossFit on May 29, 2012.
How did you hear about CrossFit and what was your first experience/WOD?
We first heard about CrossFit through a Groupon special and thought we’d give it a try. The first day was 45 minutes of squats and 3 days later we did Fran. It took Holly 21 minutes and Stephen 18 minutes. We couldn’t move for about a week!
How many days do you crossfit?
We typically go 3-5 times a week and have been known to do morning and evening classes in the same day! What can we say, we’re addicted!
What accomplishment are you the most proud of?
Stephen is most proud of not severely injuring himself at the box…yet.
Holly is most proud of tolerating Stephen’s shenanigans at the box for so long.
After a hard workout, what is your favorite meal?
-Clean meal: Steak, mixed vegetables, and sweet potatoes
-Cheat meal: David’s Burgers!
On a Saturday night, where could we typically find you?
-We are basically an old (almost) married couple! We typically stay in, relax after a long week, and work on projects in our new home.
What is one goal that you are currently working on that you will accomplish before the end of 2014?
-Stephen hopes to accomplish his first muscle up and a 300lbs overhead squat. -Holly hopes to accomplish a 100lbs snatch and 150lbs clean.
Is there anything else you would like to say?
We are so grateful we found CrossFit and have had an absolute blast from the beginning. Some of our closest friends are people we met at CrossFit, and we couldn’t imagine our lives without them. There is so much positive energy in the box that we couldn’t imagine working out without our CrossFit family.
