This isn’t linear.
Your decisions are dynamic. Your feelings are dynamic. Your strength is dynamic. Your progress is dynamic.
All that matters is marching up the mountain over time, even if you stop to rest or run backward because you found a nest of hornets (or, as I call them, spicy raisins).
So praise the setbacks; they prove that you were (and still are) going somewhere.
