Two guys are training to jump across the Grand Canyon.
One hardly trains at all. He jumps, and as you expect, he falls to the bottom, splat.
The other guy trains every day for three years. He jumps, and wouldn’t you know it, he falls to the bottom, splat.
That’s working out to burn calories and stay skinny.
You can train as little or as much as you like, but you’re still trying to jump an impossible distance – health without muscle.
That’s buying a car without wheels.
It’s not going to work.
So what does?
I’ll spare you the biology lecture – build muscle.
Afraid to? That’s because you have a virus of the mind.
The news only survives if it can sell stories and FEAR sells. The same is true for ideas. False and misleading ideas still spread far and wide- those are mind viruses.
“Cigarettes are safe.”
“Fat is the enemy.”
“Seatbelts don’t save lives.”
Intelligent people will believe garbage, until it’s too late, and the next generation benefits.
Don’t let Gen Z learn from your mistakes if you can learn the truth now.
Go heavy.
Make not-cute faces.
Work hard.
Thrive.
