“Why we would rather walk than talk”

[dropcap]W[/dropcap]hen it comes to fitness facilities that promise results, there is no shortage. It seems today that every other billboard is painted with RESULTS NOW!!! Or We Guarantee Inches Lost! The Television and Radio follow the same route for weight loss smoothies or a new super supplement that is running free trials for men and women between the ages of 18 and 55 who want to lose 30 lbs or more.

We’re becoming more savvy by listening to advertisement after advertisement. We’re learning that those who make big promises in the fitness world are usually the hallmark of liars.

CrossFit is notorious for not jumping on the bandwagon with major advertisers. The idea that people should be drawn in with cleverly-placed colors, giant fonts, and pictures of the 1% who do well, just seems wrong to us.

We let our results speak for themselves. Cross-Fitters are hooked because they know it works. Members walk around lighter, stronger and healthier. They satisfaction of accomplishing their goals and discovering what their body is truly capable of, radiates off them.

Cross-Fitters Walk, they don’t need to talk.

We won’t be renting any billboards soon. Not only because we don’t need them, but also because they take up my view of the sunset from the back step of my facility.
