It’s Time.

Yes, Time.

Here’s how to test it.

Ask yourself: Will one weightlifting workout give you the muscle you want? No. But will weightlifting workouts done over time give you the result you want? Yes.

Will one balanced, whole-food meal strip 30 lbs of fat off you? No. But will eating balanced whole-food meals over time do it? You bet.

Will choosing a great attitude because something good happened to you make you a disciplined and resilient leader of your own life? No. But choosing a great attitude over time, regardless of what happens to you, gives you damn-near disciplinary superpowers.

Use time to your advantage.

A question many ask is: how would I live my life for one whole week if I was healthy?

CLUTCH question is: how would I live on week four? What about week forty?

If those two weeks look vastly different, edit your first week to look like week four. It’s probably imperfect. It still has some junk food once in a while. It may have missed sleep, extra hours at work, and a missed workout. And THAT kind of week held over time is where the magic is.
