Talent is a measure of speed; it doesn’t determine where you end up, just how fast you get there, or in some cases, give up.

Skill is a measure of development. Showing up to practice will determine the destination.

Too many could-be champions dropped out of their sport before they hit professional stride, and too many at-risk youths built successful companies, families, and traditions for us to believe otherwise.
