How Do You Become Healthier?

What would you have to do to be “healthier”?

If you’re how I was years ago, you may think of working out more often. Maybe eat a little more salad and a little less pizza.

But it’s only a slice of the pie “I’m so funny”

That is just physical health.

We can improve our physical health by training often and treating our body with good food more consistently.

But what about mentally?

How often do we eat poor food for a quick escape from a bad day or even a bad mood we are in?

What about socially?

How many of us avoid walking into a gym filled with people we don’t know?

What would need to happen for you to be mentally, socially, and physically healthier? They are tightly interwound. An improvement in one compounds and affects improvement in the other two.

Working out is good but better when you do it with others.

Depression is treatable but even more so with friends and regular doses of feel-good hormones from training.

Having friends is nice, but having friends fit enough to help you move your couch is nicer.

Having a birthday card from your boss is ok, and possibly forced by his boss, but doing birthday burpees with 10 people you love being around, makes your job (and your weird boss) a little more bearable.
