May As Well…

“I may as well…” is a statement we ask ourselves to finish when we reach forks in the road.

Momentum determines how we finish the sentence.

“‘I’ve already had pizza for lunch; I may as well grab Chick-Fil-A for dinner.”

“I’ve already had had a solid breakfast; I may as well get the chef salad at the pizza place with my friends today. Since I’ve kept on track for lunch, I may as well eat the dinner I have prepared at home; maybe I’ll have a small piece of dark chocolate after that as a reward.”

“I may as well” is won before we say it, but it’s never too late to turn on a dime and surprise yourself with a better finish.
